Nonprofit site receives two “Awards of Distinction;” elevated among 6,000 worldwide entries

OAKLAND, CA (May 20, 2021) — Educational nonprofit GreatSchools today announced that its website,, has been recognized with two Communicator Awards for Best Family & Parenting and Best Education website. As the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communication professionals, the 27th Annual Communicator Awards received over 6,000 entries from around the world across seven categories. earned two “Awards of Distinction” in the digital category, as determined by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). The AIVA is an invitation-only member-based organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
